Light Up Artist Residency provides dedicated time and space for creative work while allowing senior and retired artists to lecture young talents with their professional knowledge and experience. The program will enable residents to engage at his/her own level and pace with young and gifted artists who are pursuing their passions in the art/music industry. Our professional programmers are devoted to developing experiences, adventures, and workshops for professional seniors, retired artists musicians to preserve wisdom and humor for generations to come. Beyond this core value, Light Up Artist Residency Program intends to offer support, visibility, and growth in the artist's community. The program exists to create brighter and healthier futures that unlock the potential of communities through an advanced development approach. Through this program, communities are positioned to fully benefit from the wisdom and diverse experience of a thriving aging population. We also host art exhibitions and receptions for residents, visiting artists and young talents while welcoming the public to attend our high-quality music concerts and travel to our cultural center and music venues. Newcomers and guests will be invited to join us on this unique journey of self-discovery and creative expression. Applications for residency are on a continual basis; there are no deadlines. Light Up Artist Residency Program allows artists of all disciplines an open environment to work creatively, with distraction.
