Wang Chunchen

Artistic Director, Curator 

Dr. Wang is employed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, formerly the CAFA Art Museum, where he is Head of the Department of Curatorial Research in Beijing. His scholarly focus is in modern art history and contemporary art theory and criticism.

In 2012, Wang was hired as a special adjunct curator to curate Chinese contemporary art exhibitions by the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University in the United States,  the first Chinese curator to be so employed at an America art museum.  In 2013, he was appointed as curator of the Chinese pavilion at the 55th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia and deputy principal editor of the Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art in the United Kingdom. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Chinese Contemporary Art Series.

Achille Gallo’s discography boasts six CDs for prestigious record labels such as Neos Music GmbH, Velut Luna, Phoenix Classics, X-classics Records which include the complete chamber music of Frank Bridge and Frederic Chopin receiving flattering appreciation from international press (Diapason Revue, Classical CD, Gramophone Magazine, Notes, Net, American Record Guide , Music Web International Review,Classic Voice, Skug Journal of Music, Colonnesonore.net, and Dissonance).

Kiril Hristov

Art Ed. Director

Kiril Hristov is the Art Education Director of LUG. As a fine artist, Kiril Hristov believes "art is the one constant in his life; a constant process based on constant effort." In 2014, Kiril received his Doctoral Degree in Art History at National Art Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Kiril's works are internationally recognized.  Hristov has held  faculty positions at the Fashion Institute of Technology and at the Academy of Art University. He has taught workshops to leading designers for over 30 years, both regionally and nationally, including for companies  Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy, and at dozens of independent artist-run spaces and non-profits.

Gia Zhang is the President and Founder of Light Up Global. With a selective roster of several of the world's premier classical musicians, Gia is devoted to helping artists and classical musicians achieve their career ambition while continuing to pursue their artistic passion in the ever-changing music industry. Gia's passion for classical music is ignited by her cellist experience in her early years within the industry. Over the past years, Gia has built and developed a strong network with top-notch musicians and prize-winning talents worldwide. In order to further her passion for the classical music industry, Gia founded and launched Light Up, where she has had the pleasure of providing art & classical music education accessible to young talents through the support and creation of art & classical music education partnerships and programs.

• 6% of your donation covers essential administrative costs, such as legal and accounting services, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization.
